Great save. Done nothing wrong there Tom. You can't 'parry' that anywhere. Just get something on it.

First goal he should have probably touched round the post. Second one was a very very good save, let down by the defence.

Defending awful. Heaton left as a one man defence. All to no avail as French covering all angles for any save the keeper makes. Heard did well but left high and dry by the rubbish in front of him.

it was easy when they didn't wear gloves.Angled hand, strong wrists. Now they play with pillows on their mitts this is happening every week for all standards of keepers.

Stones and Jones are clueless and it's interesting to watch an Arsenal right winger, who can't get in their team, playing in a key role in central midfield. Also, is Dier International class? I think not. Trips playing okay, Tom has no chance with that defensive garbage in front of him.

Dixon unecessarily faulting heaton, and having a real dig, then brings Hart into it just because dixon and hart are mates. idiot.

Lee Dixon is very good with his analysis, although saying that Chamberlain doesn't
know what he is doing was stating the bleeding obvious. As others have said, I wasn't aware
he was even playing for quite a while.

We've had some crap refs this season but this clown beats them hands down in the incompetent stakes.
The French are shirt pulling and swinging on players for fun and are getting free kicks.
But sorry Tripp is getting exposed and failed to mark the second goal scorer

Dixon is a plank. Not only was Heaton totally exposed for the initial strikes but no England player was anywhere near stopping the follow up for either goal. Heaton did what could have been reasonably expected of him. That defence is tripe.

Sterling, trippier and Bertrand are the only ones who look likely to cause France any problems. Dier is seriously bad, Ox found wanting, Kane not done much, Alli has been terrible.
France have movement all over going forward, we lump it up an there's possibly two england players attacking were sh1te

What's the point of the red? It's a friendly and the last game for a few months. It ruins the game.

heaton reacted incredibly quickly, hes facing top notch talent and saved from very close range, the idea he might have pushed it "a little wider" is stupid. balls travelling about 80mph from about 5 yards, the defence around him was woeful.

Standing in goal doing nowt for 45 mins isn't going to impress anyone. Heaton made 2 very good saves and one he "may" have done better with but it was still a very good save. I don't think Tom did himself any harm today but we all now it will be Hart, Butland and Pickford going to Russia
