The Derby Chris McCann
Re: Will Hughes - £5m
Given what Derby managed to squeeze out of us for Hendrick I think the figure 1 was missed from in front of the 5

Re: Will Hughes - £5m
It's about time he did move on. Had he not got such a bad injury the other season, I think he'd have moved on earlier than this.
Let's face it; he's never going to play in the Premier League with Derby, is he?

Yesterdays man.
There must be lots of footballers out there now, who turned us down because they thought we were a one season wonder.
I'm not saying they'll all have regrets, but it must irk them a bit. "But my agent told me they were ****......"

How can a lad who's just turned 22 be yesterday's man?

Re: Tom Ince
Why's the thread about Will Hughes been merged into the Tom Ince thread?
Are they the same person?

Re: Tom Ince
Would be a good deal Hughes for 5 million. I've always thought he was overrated because there's not many technically good footballers in the championship, but in todays market 5 million is very very cheap.

Re: Tom Ince / Will Hughes
Hughes or Ince for the right fee would be decent additions. Ince has a questionable attitude though so I fancy he's not a Dyche type player.
Hughes is a good young midfielder. 5 million, or thereabouts, would be a good bit of business. Even if he fails we'd get that back in 12 months comfortably.
Chris McCann was a good player. Don't see the need to write negative comments about him. Simple fact is he was very good up until his injury in the PL. After that he was never the same.

Well this is confusing, I wonder if the Pickford thread will be merged into this one next.
I think the comments about McCann are more aimed at the fans who built him up more and more whilst he was injured rather than the player.

Is Hughes in the final year of contract, like say, Keane?

Re: Tom Ince
Regardless of the capabilities of Ince, you end up with that pillock Ince Senior (The Governor as he insists) pretending he is the spokesman for the club and becoming a nasty rash on the whole place.
