A baseball bat! So, you've taken up the Great American Pastime, Charlie. How are the Albuquerque Isotopes doing?

Fair play to him. If you don't have the required number of braincells to know not to park infront of a driveway, then you shouldn't have a driving license, because you're too thick.

I'd either do something stupid, or lose my temper about something else and shoot someone.
Also I don't live in a society where I have to wonder if the person in front of me has a gun 99.99% of the time and I quite like that feeling.
Was going to answer yes then read this. So simple and makes perfect sense

Yes I would.
I have a former Taliban owned Soviet made AK47, a Remington pump-action rimfire .22 rifle and a standard issue Soviet Mosin Nagant M91/30 - one of millions made for WWII.

I do like watching a bit of baseball. Minor league games are hella fun. $1 hot dog nights, I can eat about 8! El Paso is closer for me just over the Texas border. Their team is the Chihauhas and sometimes they have 25c taco nights *burp*

Went into my local wholesale grocery today, and the guy walking towards me with his shopping trolley was quite happily wearing a holstered shotgun

His argument would be he can defend his family and others. So without going into the gun debate, he can own a gun, does so, and wears it in public. I have to say though it's a rare sight. Most stores deny entry.

He only needs to defend his family and himself because guns are a major issue in the US.
He certainly doesn't need to carry it whilst out shopping, it's overkill.

I have a Chassepot, about 130 - 150 years old, standard French Foreign Legion rifle. It was seized by a Para from a rebel in Aden in the 60's.
It obviously has some history to it, must have been seized from a Legionnaire in North Africa and worked it's way South. Whoever fought with it must have lost, so I'll just keep it in the cupboard and dial 999 if I get an intruder.
