Re: New brexit poll, big majority for hard brexit
Ringo - Brexit hasn't happened yet so it's far too early to judge the impact. Look again in 2025 or 2030 and see the divergence between the UK and Eurozone economies.
The other point is that Brexit was sold as parliament recovering sovereignty. But that's not what's proposed: the inclusion of Henry VIII clauses in the Great Repeal Bill means that ministers can re- write whole swathes of legislation without regard to parliament. Which might be fine for you Ringo whilst the Tories are in power but what about a Corbyn led government with the same powers? Still happy about that?

But all the lies I stated were promised just by simply voting to leave.
And we heard all the doom n gloom clap trap, self defeatist and economic masochism garbage before.
When?
When we were nearly forced into joining the single currency.
Hesletine, Clarke, Bliar, Mandeson and Ashdown were lining up to say
"we'll be left floating out in the mid-atlantic"
"We'll become an economic back water"
"We'll become an economic desert"
"This country will end up in splendid isolation"

I wonder why the OP isn't posting the survey that shows a quarter of Leave voters now feel duped by the Leave campaign.

I'm gonna go out on a whim and guess this is something the Independent has spun up.Imploding Turtle wrote:I wonder why the OP isn't posting the survey that shows a quarter of Leave voters now feel duped by the Leave campaign.

The fact that it has this stupid concocted word 'Brexit' should have been enough to send folk to the hills. Leaving Europe has and will cripple this insular country.
