I think there's one off comment but an awful lot more overreacting. Shaking? Come on!!
Re: Majeed Waris
Get a grip, a lot of comments are made without people thinking "oh yeah ill write that cause its racist" its harmless comments and the world has gone soft.
Its not even a blackboard anymore, or baa baa black sheep.
All because its construed as racist. What a pile of tripe, lets just outcast the word black while we are at it, get over yourselves

Er, if Claretmoffit is calling out a thread for being "racist" its one of two things
- incredibly, blatantly obviously racist, so much so that its a bit too much (it isn't this one)
- its not racist at all, with just one person with a limited idea of what he is talking about linking him because of islamophobia
Its the second one.
Bit of bigotry, with a dashing of borderline islamophobia - in short, nothing unusual for this board.
Liking the "its PC gone mad" comments though.

Re: Majeed Waris
Do people still just jump on the racist bandwagon? Its the new in thing obviously. But in general because I dont pick up on it, ill be one of the "uneducated" posters no doubt. In my opinion the whole thing is over reacted and Thats world wide and not just on this board, there is a problem I agree but not everything said is racist, but opinions on the subject are bound to be wide apart.

Why is suggesting he may find mates in Nelson racist there is a mosque in Nelson that embraces all people including white Burnley supporters like me.
It's inclusive.Although I do have concerns in signing foreign players as our track record with them is poor .This is not a racist comment.

The only thing with the African internationals is the African Nations Cup - lose them for 5 - 6 weeks and can get injured after the Jan transfer window shuts - think it is on again this season

Nope, they changed it this summer so it is no longer on during the European season. It's now going to be a summer thing like the EurosChester Perry wrote:The only thing with the African internationals is the African Nations Cup - lose them for 5 - 6 weeks and can get injured after the Jan transfer window shuts - think it is on again this season
