Correct. Some areas of the world are more attractive to live in.....wealthier, greener landscapes / better crop areas, good governments, and those with social security.

So, given the UK has always been popular attracting immigration, we should perhaps expect the UK population to double to around 120 million.

You can see from these that since 1850 the UK population has gone up about two and a half times, whilst the world population has increased six fold.
