Let's get real.
Whilst this lad is potentially one of the most exciting young players we have had in years, he is not yet ready to replace Ward nor has he earned a place in the first team.
He has played one "competitive" game in a strong Burnley team, full of Prem. players against a weakened 3rd tier outfit and has made a good impression.
Don't get me wrong, the lad will come good, but this smacks of the sort of hype that was spouted about Tarks before he had kicked a ball in anger. The word then was that he should partner MK and now the same posters are demanding a new defensive partner to Mee.
I'm sure that the manager will see this and will introduce the lad gradually in his right position. One things for sure he will not be swayed by keyboard hype just as he wasn't with Defour and Gray last year.
