Pushin - I think the newspapers and Tele ads play a far bigger part in promoting gambling than a football message board will ever do

I'm not sure why you think Happy is trying to make it look easy or that s/he is justifying it to be the greatest thing in the world. As far as I can see (and I have no vested interest and have no idea who happy is) they are giving a few tips and that's all. You seem to have read a ridiculous amount into their posts that I can't see at all.

Finally you say the majority of posters on this thread have got their head stuck in the sand and have problems they are unaware of. As one of the posters on this thread I can categorically state I have no gambling problem. I only bet what I can afford to lose and even then only bet around 2 or 3 times per year. I would imagine very few if any of the posters on this thread actually have a problem.

I'm guessing (and may be wide of the mark) that either you or someone close to you has had a problem with gambling addiction. If so you have my sympathy, but it doesn't mean everyone else has an addictive personality or a problem with gambling. Just as people who have a drink now doesn't mean they are an alcoholic.

If the things you imagined happy saying had been said then you may have a point, but as they are just passing on tips to people who are interested, your crusade makes you look at best over emotional on the subject and at worst, well I'm too polite to say how it makes you look.

Why don't you just not read a thread on betting tips rather than having a go.
