Slightly disappointed that my favourite ever Claret, Brian O'Neil didn't make the cut so to speak.
Anyone fancy signing my petition? :D
That's what I was alluding to earlier with Trevor Steven. We know how good a footballer he was (mainly for Everton ;) ) but there is a long list of players that could/should be up before him.

However like I said at the time, it was a fair process and had to be split down into era's because otherwise we could have ended up with a majority of 60's and 70's players, and that wouldn't have represented all of the modern history of our players.

One great shame is that we don't have a player from the 4th Division Champions present. A John Deary or John Francis (Steve Davis may upset a few :) ) would have been nice.

They're good though and a great addition to the Clarets cathedral.

Have to agree with all of that . As good as Trevor Steven was, and I saw his every game, he's towards the bottom of my list of favourite players. But we have to respect the democratic decision and celebrate his inclusion 8-)

Shame that nobody from the 4th division season made the cut as, for me, that was still one of the most exciting seasons with some of the best memories but if not enough people voted for those guys then so be it

There are other places where a phase 4 could go in the future

Sean Dyche should be on there, with his Claret and Blue tie shining brightly, should we ever get to phase four.

Let’s celebrate what we’ve put up - all fantastic players. Not having a picture of Terry Cochrane won’t diminish the memory of that goal at their place. Voting is voting.

Great stuff. Really classy imho.

Peter Noble, billy hamilton, michael duff, Robbie Blake. Great to see my particular favourites up there.

Very happy with these.

Steven was a surprise but he did really well in the vote for that era ahead of some of those 4th division title winners, but, we all have favourites that we would have liked on there and, I've said it before, if I could add one then it would be Brian O'Neil to the group that are on the Jimmy Mac Stand.

But there were thousands of votes cast so at the end of the day we can't complain at who did make it and who didn't.

Most of our work at the turf is carried out for sponsors or the club itself so it was great to get involved with something fan based.
Thanks to Tony, Chris, Adam and anyone else involved in the project. It's looking fantastic so well done all.
It's been good working with you Diggs291212 - really pleased with what we've produced

It's almost as though the person who's done it converted the pictures to black and white and then re-coloured them, rather than keeping the original colour.

Either that or they've never seen a Burnley shirt.
I must admit to thinking the same thing about the colours, as it's not our traditional claret, but understand. It's difficult to convert black and white pics to colour anyway, and different pictures react differently to the same colours, so it must have been difficult. I'd image once they got one or two 'right' they decided to make that the standard.

They look great all the same, but do wish they'd got Deary, Conroy/Eli and Pender/Pearce on there.

I think these plaques was a great idea. Maybe it would be worth having memorable team photos up somewhere in the concourses as many worthy players have missed out.

I'm not so sure Joe Neenan deserves that but I can think of a good place for Paul Stewart in the same room.

It's quite disappointing after all the hard work that people mention names like Neenan, but there you go.

I got a funny tingling feeling when I saw the one of Ian Britton.

In terms of quality, Britt's is probably not the best in that last group - but we really couldn't use any picture other than that one.

Yes certainly the only one to use of him.

There would have been uproar otherwise. :)
