Re: Mark Hughes
They brought their central defensive sub on for the last bit of the game and couldn’t cope.
We had 1 of our first choice back 5 playing for most of the game, and kept a clean sheet.
That’s what Hughes should focus on. That and his sides’ finishing.

If you want to watch sport which is decided by a non binary scoring system, go and watch gymnastics, diving or horse dressage.

That's two hours of your life you just lost watching us win which makes our win even better.
Re: Mark Hughes
His words stand in such contrast to those of our manager. Dyche is gaining the love of the sports press.

Re: Mark Hughes
He makes it sound like every result we've had has been down to luck. Blames the loss of a player unbalancing his team, well maybe he should train them to seamlessly slot in like ours do.
Yet another defeated manager that comes out with "we know the type of game they play", if you're that wise Hughes then why didn't you get the result your foresight armed you with?

When your greatest goal scoring threat is Peter Crouch, that says it all. They came to park the bus, and they almost succeeded, thanks, in large part, to us.

Re: Mark Hughes
Its bad for dyche if he has ambitions elsewhere. Ruined Sam's chances of progressing to the top of the game.CrispyClaret wrote: Yet another defeated manager that comes out with "we know the type of game they play"?

Re: Mark Hughes
I think Hughes has had the air of a cornered pitbull for some time. He's lost control and blaming everyone and everything else for it.... same old. We are Burnley and established Premier League sides are coming here for a point... and not even getting that. Winning while not playing well.... it doesn't get much better than that. Bloody magnificant.

Never had a problem with stoke fans.....but quite funny to hear comments from the always ever so jolly Hughes when stoke endured years of Delap chuck it as far as you can and Pulis get as close to cheating as you can football.........
As Dyche says, Burnley fans should enjoy every minute of where we are now........
