Indeed. Fried egg (crispy edges, quickly cooked on high heat) on toast (Warburtons Toastie, well grilled) with ketchup and black pepper: Top drawer.

French toast (eggy bread): A fantastic lunch, but only occasionally. Gets a bit smoky (sets off our smoke alarm).

I'm sorry sir, but anyone who desecrates the embryo of a poor chicken by browning (COLOURING) or otherwise burning/crisping its bottom and/or top deserves the death penalty itself.

I share that hate of waste.
When i was a snapper i was skiving school at my mates house and we was hungry,so we used the left overs on the oven to make a snack,now what we thought was broccoli was actually cauliflower that had been left there a week. :mrgreen: :mrgreen:
