Re: Tom or nick
Nick.
We are 7th and he's helped with that a great deal.
He doesn't appear to have many moments where you think he'd throw one in like Hart.
He's made some outstanding saves and his stats are making him the best English keeper in the PL and at one point amongst the best in Europe.
As it stands he's our number 1 and rightly so, Heaton has to wait for his chance now, to drop Pope would send out the wrong message and do Pope a disservice.

And now that the job is done, I would like to see Tom play the last game.

Re: Tom or nick
Pope would be a top keeper if he had foot work. Tom is better with his feet but doesn't command his box like Pope, due to his lack of height.
There is nothing between them

Re: Tom or nick
Think right now with Mee out we should play Heaton
Our defence is less organised in his absence and well as Long has played somebody needs to make sure Tarks does less show boating
Tom is more likely to keep the central defenders up to their game
Long term I think I would stick with Tom if he is fully fit. He is a better leader and more likely to stay around for a few years
Pope has been fantastic but he might just be a one year wonder or a target for the big clubs 12 months later. Sad to say I think we should cash in

Re: Tom or nick
We would still have got tubbed with both of them in goal yesterday. Bit of a bummer for Nick but no real blame attached to him for the goals.
Re: Tom or nick
Either of them, they're both that good it doesn't matter which one we have in goal.

Re: Tom or nick
We've seen they can both stop shots. The fingertip save against Saints was a worldy, not to mention the one on one against Morata at CFS.
Pope strength - claiming crosses when under the cosh, its first time I've seen a BFC 'keeper do this regularly and well in my lifetime.
Heatons strength - perhaps his cummunication- but I can't measure this visually.
Pope for me. On account of his ability to command his box and him being younger is just an added bonus.

Never thought I would say this but Pope for me.
