CB, Winger and a Striker would be my priority.
Ziyech would be a great signing.

I'm surprised no one as suggested Ronaldo who would be a great addition with European football on the Horizon.

Re: Which players would you like to see added to the squad for next season ?
We`ll need a new keeper as I honestly can`t see both Pope and Heaton here next season.
We will require a further centre-half a la Tarkowski a couple of years ago.
Ward-Prowse (Southampton/classy) or Philips (WBA/pacy direct) to replace Arfield and Nkoudou
A central midfielder to replace Marney (suspect will be off) - no idea who but in a similar ilk.
A `No.10` to add creativity up top...SHAQIRI.
All 3 players mentioned will be on double what we can offer them so they would have to buy into `Club Burnley` w/Europe (hopefully) to boot! and accept a lower basic with a golden bonus for staying in the Premier League.
That`s a minimum of 6 players `in`. Who the hell knows!!!???

Okazaki. Stephens. Rodriguez.
Liked that Choudhary once he started dropping to almost center half depth to pick up the ball. Much better with a view in front of him.

Some of the replies above about James Milner show a massive lack of football knowledge, there is absolutely zero chance of James Milner playing for us next season.
Look who has the most assists in the Champions League this season. It's that carthorse Milner...
Signings wise - James Ward-Prowse, Craig Dawson, Jack Stephens, plus a winger or two and another striker.

I suggested James Milner acknowledging such a signing is highly unlikely. However, I wanted to raise the point that he'd probably fit our system very well. Definitely not a carthorse as one or two have claimed.Dom wrote:Some of the replies above about James Milner show a massive lack of football knowledge, there is absolutely zero chance of James Milner playing for us next season.

I wasn't digging you out, it was aimed at the people who say he isn't good enough.IndigoLake wrote:I suggested James Milner acknowledging such a signing is highly unlikely. Matt Phillips from WBA appears to be a good fit to our squad ethos and shouldn't be on massive wages

No worries - I had a feeling that was the case. Just thought I'd defend my honour just in case, heh.Dom wrote:I wasn't digging you out, it was aimed at the people who say he isn't good enough.

Phillips and dawson from west brom, stephens, Davis, ward prowse and tadic from Southampton, holding form Arsenal.
Cheeky bid for Morata from Chelsea, may be some gems from the world cup to keep an eye on.
I think Sir Sean already probably knows who he wants and some of the deals are already done and dusted.
