Really good news, there had been rumours of other clubs sniffing around him so good to see him commit to a long term contract.
He is a proper old fashioned winger and had the ability to get you off your seat. Happy days.

Already very good and more to come, me thinks.

He won't be here to see out his contract though, a 35-40m offer from someone will see him gone in the January transfer window.

He'd be one of the first names on the teamsheet. If not, THE first name.

Still not absolutely sure how we fit him, Brady and Lennon into the same team if and when they are all fit, but its a fabulous problem to have. JBG has come on leaps and bounds in the last year - I doubted whether he'd be more than a fairly workmanlike PL player but he's certainly proved me wrong and been an absolute star this season.

Just needs to add a few more goals to his game and he'll be as good as anyone outside the top 6.
Could play JBG as a number 10. Think he is more suited to that position than Hendrick. Would probably get more goals playing there. Great player and fantastic news.

He’s done great this season after a quietist start. When you look at all our goals this season, he’s made a lot of them, end product to go with his excellent discipline and work ethic.
He and a fully fit Brady would be a fair notch above Lennon for a starting berth given each players contribution this season, imo.

Possibly. He's quite tidy with his back to goal which helps. And his close control is excellent - reminiscent of Ings.

On the other hand, I don't know if his passing is smart enough under pressure - he regularly has the lowest pass completion rate in our team as it is, and it's arguably trickier in the centre where it's more congested. And I don't know if running in behind the striker is really his forte.

So perhaps worth a try. Not sure he's better suited to that role necessarily, but he certainly could be a different option.

Having been in bed since Thursday this is great news to wake up to.

Probably our most improved player this season and would be my pick for player of the season alongside Matt Lowton.

Absolutely brilliant news!!!! A match winner who very rarely has an off day. One presumes he`s upped his 5,000 pounds a week :D

Not being argumentative, claretspice, but wondering if `wingers` in general have high pass completion rates simply by the very nature of their type of pass? Not even sure if crosses even count as passes in these stats.
