A typical uneducated reply. There is always one,this sort of reply is the possible answer to my concern and perhaps why most of the educated posters have lost patience with this particular forum,leading to its demise.Predictable,touchy,cliquey,unfunny,unfriendly and unhelpful answers to list a few.

When someone starts a post by saying things like 'typically' they are usually showing themselves to be narrow minded and unwilling to accept other views. When opposed they say 'typically (insert whatever you like)' and think they are putting themselves above others.

There is actually nothing typical about someone suggesting if you don't like something don't bother with it. The typicality is you coming up with a nothing argument like yours.

forum I have ever visited happens to be this one .

I understand it's out of season however its out of season on other forums as well and they still have some cracking football debates.

Ours currently has NHS after Brexit ,world cup/itv presenters and guests ,up trouser legging ,david dimbleby leaving question time , billy joel this evening and wait for it..... pendle hill

I couldn't agree more . A few of my classics, one in particular on the types of people that shop at aldi and lidle ( which a poster called bacup boy , or backward boy, I cant just recall ,should remember well ) were erased from Claret Tony . Any good post making their head above the mediocre parapet seemed to get deleted ,along with a nice little ban for the creator . I think looking back at my subsequent posts you may have hit the nail on the head . The posters , me included have been conditioned to keep things boring .

Its not conditioning it is a form of grooming to select up and coming Furhrer's.
