I'm completely caught up in the excitement. Ive had confidence in this squad and Gareth all along and they’ll be posts of mine on this forum that’ll confirm that.

Ive learnt from watching us/Leicester over the past few years that you don’t need the greatest players in the league/cup to achieve incredible things. Team spirit takes you along way in this game. It’s seems a very level squad from the outside. Level as in nobody things there better or above anybody else. Mostly young/hungry players. Trying to start their careers at the top. If they do it their lifes will never be the same. It’ll be incredible. Look at Vardy. Non league to PL champion to possible WC winner.

Footballs about dreaming and if you don’t you may as well not bother.

At the start of the tournament I said on here I'd be happy with us reaching the quarter finals. So I'm happy, but greedy for more

Come on England

I hope for The Clarets and England to get success!

I wonder how many of you that have said you have no interest in England, are also not proud of the fact Burnley have 4 current England international players?

Add to that the obvious involvement in the development of Trippier!

Totally fell out of love with England, they're doing well though.

Wade Elliot's goal hitting the back of the net at Wembley was something that no England goal could ever re-create, along with the scenes at the final whistle.

Seeing thousands of people dressed in Claret and Blue and becoming so emotional at that point, and then at the final whistle will live with me forever!

I am, but it's a bit weird as I positively dislike some of our players.

I'm not emotionally invested in international football in the same way that I am with club football. I wish I was, because I can see how much joy it's bringing to people around the country. I'd like England to win, but it doesn't really go any further than that for me.

I guess there will be one or two who actually don't care. Also, before it started there were a lot who used to care but had been worn down by repeated failures over the years.
However, it seems to me there was, and still is, a lot of "ooh look at me I don't care and I'm too cool to get exited" types out there.
This journey is brilliant and although nothing has been won yet this summer may still go down as one of the greatest "remember when" times!

As a Burnley supporter for fifty years I find it amazing that people are still talking about Burnley when England are in a world cup semi final, Burnley are not playing at the moment , so support the team that are close to winning something special, lets get on with this and then get on supporting our team.
