Need to win v the Turkish MK Dons+ first though.
I seem to recall them down t’road playing a small Greek side one season about 10 years ago. They took something like 1,500 to Ewood, so I’m sure Olympiakos would be close to selling out. They’re one of the larger clubs in Greece.

We’ve had an awful draw here considering the horrible travelling to the away game, them being a small club and no away fans at ours. They’ll be lucky to bring 50.

I hope our fans are up for it regardless, and hope we get through.

Burnley have already told us that tickets for away games in the Europa can only be sold to fans who are members of club schemes. They said that this is line with UEFA rules, same for all clubs.

If this is so then Turkish people living in the UK wont just be able to turn up on the day and get a ticket for the away end.

Does anyone know how you can buy the tickets for tomorrow and get them added to your season card? I can’t seem to find that option.

Think it’s just done automatically if you have a season ticket.

Chances are someone has bought your seat unless you're in the Jimmy Mc stand.

Seats seem to be free. And it’s driving me mad, so difficult to buy. Kids tickets still showing as £15 too.

They say 15 quid until you proceed to basket and it re-calculates your order.

on the tab "fulfilment method". awayfromburnley is absolutely correct, for me it is only saying 'collect'.
Why is there not an option to upload to season card?
No wonder the club are complaining there is a higher than normal number of tickets to be collected,
if that is the only method of getting a ticket at this stage.
I thought one of the advantages of season cards was that they could be uploaded at anytime?

They had a week for ST holders for that and probably don't expect you to attend the game or want your seat if you don't purchase in that priority period.

Will be a problem for a very small number.

Watford tickets have now disappeared from online purchase option (but no mention of it being sold out, so who knows!) and less than 100 available for Man Utd.

EDIT - Watford tickets now back on sale online.

Putting it on your season card is only an option if you bought your own seat. If you didn't then it's a paper ticket.

There's pictures of fans at Manchester airport getting autographs from the Istanbul players so there might be a few away fans.

With Başakşehir I think most Turks don’t like them because they are government backed. The ministry of sport funds them and they are fairly new with no history.

I selected my seats but the only option was collect and I wanted assurances it was going to be added to my 3 cards. I was only going to get to the ground for around 730/740 and didn't want to place my faith in it (first time with season ticket for about 10 years) especially with, 3 kids in tow and a 100 mile round journey.

If the seats that you selected were your own seats then it would show collect but they would be loaded onto your cards but if you selected seats that weren't your own seats then a paper ticket would have to be printed and collected.

The only time you are told it is 'loaded onto your smartcard' is after you have purchased it and you get
the email confirmation, this needs improvement.
There's another word for the same thing. smartcard! We have Season Card, Team Card and Smartcard which all refer to the same piece of plastic.

The whole system needs simplification and improvement.

I remember a few years back when you could print your own tickets off at home, what happened to that?

Awayfromburnley. I think a few of us are trying to help you. Are all the seats you are/were you trying to buy your own season ticket seats?
Plus have you tried ringing the ticket office for free about this?

Thanks Leisure and others. It seems to have worked now. Interestingly using my ipad instead of my phone. Not sure why, but it indicated "smart card upload" when on the ipad.

Frustrating, but eventually got there thank you.

Glad you got there in the end.

I keep banging on about making the online purchasing system more user friendly but it just seems to go in the opposite direction.

Why when we bought tickets for our own seats did a message not just appear on the screen saying " This ticket has been uploaded onto your season ticket card".

It's hardly rocket science.

Just under 2,000 remaining in home sections early this morning, so should be near to 17,000.

Looking online now I think you’re quite a way out?

568 seats left in Longside
143 in bob Lord
Jimmy Mac is only just over half sold at best, so 2,800 in there?
Cricket field sold out

The club also keep some back for walk ups. I’d have said closer to 15,000 sold?

There's a lot more than that. The club have just released the wings seats in the JHU, doubt they've released all in the JM just yet. ( the ones that are showing online, arent usually alls what available, they keep plenty back, then release in stages )

If they are the numbers now, then you're probably correct. I counted this morning (including JM stand) and it was just under 2,000. If they've now added seats your estimate will be closer than mine.
