Musical taste is all very subjective, one man's nectar is another man's poison ~ but any song that has ever made it into the charts has been well crafted enough to make people buy it, so they all have some merit ~ however perfectly good songs can be made to sound astonishingly awful by the right people - take Arthur Mullard and Hylda Baker for example - singing a genuine live vocal on Top of the Pops in 1978 before a quite stunned audience ~
