Why is Taylor scared of going forwards?

So let's say you have a favourite restaurant, it has the best chef they've ever had and in the last few years has served up some brilliant food and rightly received critical acclaim. However, ever since his moment of success he's been putting out substandard food despite the fact you and others know what he is capable of - you wouldn't question it ?

What if his food is still pretty much the same but most of the other restaurants in town have got better?

I have an opinion on what our best back 4 is. The opinion is shared by many posters on here but none of us knows what goes on in the dressing room.

Not bothered about what other posters think, but the frequency in which Ward is getting subbed is surely telling that he's struggling to do 90.

Good analogy. That’s not what’s happened though.

The food at Southampton was great.
The first half food against Watford was even better.
The first half food away at Olympiacos was great.
The food at home to Olympiacos was great.
The food at Fulham was poor.
The food yesterday had the wrong ingredients.

First half at Saints we where good, second half they were all over us
First half against Watford was pretty good, second half was a shambles
Olympiacos away can't judge because of what went on but we where doing ok for sure
Fulham - agree
Olympiacos at home was superb.................4-4-2 (clear as day and you cannot argue with that at all)
Yesterday, agree but also wrong tactics again

You may need to rewatch the games without your Claret tinted glasses on my friend. What's your excuse for all the games since Leicester and 5 wins in 32 ?

They have TP, and delighted you added that - makes our transfer window even more ridiculous. We all knew Wolves and Fulham would spend loads and be far more technical than us for starters. Unless you are blind (generic not you personally) you could see that the technical level of the PL had gone up and styles of play where going to change over the summer, I don't think anyone realistically expected us to go out and spend 100 million but to not bring in another winger and midfielder given out injuries was suicide.

Still doesn't answer the question of why when we battered Olympiacos playing 4-4-2 Dyche reverts back to 4-5-1 that hasn't worked in a long time.

yes mate, 65" full hd every game. I watched more than enough games in the flesh in the lower leagues to know that we could be throwing away our best opportunity to stay at the top table and that would be unforgivable. You carry on following blindly mate but I like to question things in life

It’s a waste of time arguing with Hibclaret about ward. If you look back through his posts you will see he has a borderline homoerotic loving for Ward and if you bare to point out that Ward has had his day and will be nowhere near the starting lineup this season he will roll out his favourite line of ‘get a seat that faces the pitch’.
