Looking at all of the above selections and the large amount of various formats, it does paint a picture of confusion.

Vydra and Wood will be the best partnership, once Vydra makes match fitness to start.
Re: Your starting Eleven vs Wolves
Barnes or vokes with vydra in the no 10 role please Mr Dyche! Wood not up to much up front on his own n he needs dropping.

He wouldn't be upfront on his own if Vydra starts.claretdj wrote:Barnes or vokes with vydra in the no 10 role please Mr Dyche! Wood not up to much up front on his own n he needs dropping.

That's what I mean. Wood wouldn't need dropping if Vydra starts. It makes much more sense Vydra and Wood upfront together than Vydra and Barnes or Vokes. Definitely.claretdj wrote:Hendrick n Wood out for vydra Barnes or vokes I mean Frank..

SD won't drop Hart - just like he doesn't 'drop' anyone who doesn't let him down. Genuine case for Lowton to return ahead of Bardsley as they have rotated to a certain extent already. Taylor to start ahead of Ward as things stand.
If JBG is fit he'll start and McNeil will drop to the bench - which might not be a bad thing as it would mean we could make a change that gives the opposition something different to think about.
Doubt Vydra will be considered ready for a start. I'd give Westwood a breather and play Hendrick and Cork in a central two which would actually give us some threat from that area as opposed to the holding plan (Cork/Westwood) which gives us few positive options if we concede first.
Up front this is a game where Vokes's attributes could pay dividends - I'd pair him with Wood but get Barnes on sooner rather than later if it's not working.

I hope I'm wrong n dyche plays 2 up front, but I can see the usual Hendrick no 10 role with wood on his own up top!

Yeah. Vydra's best position from what I saw of him in the Championship - and I do watch quite a lot - it's collecting the ball from midfield and running towards goal, with the ball on the ground. Him behind Wood is absolutely perfect.claretdj wrote:I hope I'm wrong n dyche plays 2 up front, but I can see the usual Hendrick no 10 role with wood on his own up top!
Wood would not be on his own, Vydra would support him a lot better than Hendrick, as Hendrick is a natural midfielder. Vydra is someone to pick the ball up and take it forward as the support striker.
A lot of posters have opted for Barnes/Vokes, with Vydra behind, but they can't have seen anything/much of Vydra, that will be why.

It's good that the team doesn't pick itself, it means that we have options.Nonayforever wrote:Looking at all of the above selections and the large amount of various formats, it does paint a picture of confusion.
Once of a day the team picked itself.
The European campaign and injuries have gone towards us not having a settled side.
Hopefully starting tomorrow we will see a settled side and for a good few weeks, until Brady and Defour come back.

Hmm. In this instance, I think it's more because we have a few players who are underperforming and have too few options. A few players aren't in form, so there's a lot of room for players to be swapped.Bin Ont Turf wrote:It's good that the team doesn't pick itself, it means that we have options.
