The pub right next to the station is the Famous Cock.
I've been to the Famous Cock Tavern many times, but they wouldn't let us in there before the Arsenal match at the end of last season [would be no problem for a West Ham match]..decent if you can get in.
The White Swan just round the corner on Upper St was [as above] packed with Clarets, and the pub was large and welcoming.
- a tip for the Arsenal match..just over the other side of Upper St is the Union Chapel [hard to miss it] a working church but an entertainment venue as well, Arcade Fire have played there - round the back of the Chapel is the Compton Arms on Compton Terrace - great food and ale and it's just had a makeover, busy-ish on match days.
sorry, back on topic - getting a drink around the London Stadium not a great idea..enough pubs/bars around St Pancras [to get that fast train down, seven minutes to Str. International] and Kings Cross Station [including a Fullers pub in the station, the Parcel Yard]
Just noticed..we have four away games in London in the space of 7 weeks...£££
