Should Dunne be going to Sunderland then that suggests those responsible at Burnley believe it will be a step up for him, otherwise we could have left him at Hearts for the remainder of the season.

Maybe Sunderland are offering a better financial package to Burnley or Dunne?ClaretTony wrote:Should Dunne be going to Sunderland then that suggests those responsible at Burnley believe it will be a step up for him, otherwise we could have left him at Hearts for the remainder of the season.
Maybe playing in a side going for the league title is better for the lads confidence but it does seem a little strange seeING as he was so happy up there.
I'm sure the club know better than us though.

He's settled in at every club he's been at and returned with glowing reports from managers, players and supporters. He's going to a club that is going into a title challenge and, for me, playing against better teams than some in Scotland.Quickenthetempo wrote:Maybe Sunderland are offering a better financial package to Burnley or Dunne?

Not sure how much the finances would affect any loan decision, as what's best for the player is game time.Quickenthetempo wrote:Maybe Sunderland are offering a better financial package to Burnley or Dunne?

Surely the big question is will he get game time, they are clearly a decent side without him.

Hopefully this could be part of negotiations regarding one of their players coming to us? I believe they are struggling to get Maja to sign a new contract and at 20 he already looks a handful in that league and has scored a few this season (20ish I think).
