If we stay up or if we go down Sean has to stay, because we need somebody to keep Rigg in check for the time being.
Handing over the strategic reins to Rigg, along with whatever patsy of a Head Coach he might choose to bring in, would seal our future fate and allow misfortune the opportunity to dance on our grave - like QPR or Fulham.
Just tell us honestly Long Time Lurker, did you actually go on the Turf today ?
In fact, have you been on a match all season ?

I've never understood the argument that if someone has been successful beyond our wildest dreams, then he ought to be sacked because we don't think he will do any better.
And how do you know the next man will be better? I think there is a lot of argument on the lines of "Dyche has made mistakes, so let's replace him". But it's the replacement that is the difficulty. either you have to replace him with someone who won't make mistakes (I hope we all know that man doesn't exist), or someone who will make mistakes, but different ones. And then hope that his mistakes are mistakes with a different impact from Dyche's.
To find someone who could do what Dyche has done the last six years, that would be next to impossible. To find a man who will be able to do what Dyche will do in the next six years - do you think that will be any easier?

Mark Warburton has been holding out for the right opportunity for a while now.

4 at the back against 1 striker for 90 mins tells me all I need to know. I wonder how gutted people were when Coyle left and thought we'd never find another decent manager etc - Dyche will go at some point, we'll move on

If you look back to a post I previously made you will see that I have already "honestly declared" that it is very rare for me to go on. In the post I clearly stated that crowds make me uncomfortable and despite all of the lovely kindred spirits a Burnley crowd contains I can't help the fact that my nature decreases my enjoyment of such events.
The upshot is that I only attend when needs must. Although, our failure to grab a golden chance and beat 10 men today does mean that I will probably have to bite the bullet and attend the "Cardiff or bust" relegation match.
If you are trying to imply that a person can only be a fan of a club and care deeply about a club if they attend every match in person then you might need to think again.

There are some fickle people on here.
Dyche has been incredible.
I suspect the mood will be very different in a few weeks time.
Keep the faith .
