We have missed the boat earlier on would have been fine, no chance now with how he’s getting on, tripping on acid if anybody seriously thinks we could afford to sign him.

in an ideal world we would’ve got players like Watkins and Toney from League One/Two clubs on small fees but then we’d be left with untried young players in the PL.

I’d like to see us try and develop in recruiting these youngsters from League One/Two but loaning them out instantly. Watkins for £1M from Exeter but then instantly sending him out on loan for a year or two.
