Re: Jeff Hendrick
Played well but I won't worry one bit if he moves on. I personally don't agree with the points others make about him being a good player or us being better when he's in the team, I think he goes missing and doesn't stand out enough in any area to be a good premier league player.

Re: Jeff Hendrick
Remember Mourinho saying he only wanted to sign "specialists" at Man Utd..... Jeff's problem has been that he hasn't been given one position to excel in so comes across as a jack of all trades master of none - very unfair to overly criticize him because of that I think.

Re: Jeff Hendrick
You could argue the way we play we need all rounders and I think Hendrick can be useful as a backup player but he's hardly Graham Branch is he. If you're going to have someone as a utility player at least have him cover more than 2 roles.Vegas Claret wrote: ↑Tue Jan 21, 2020 3:01 amRemember Mourinho saying he only wanted to sign "specialists" at Man Utd..... And yes he can play in a centre midfield 3 but he's hardly a number 10 even when he's told to play attacking midfield.
We need more consistent performers in the first 11. If we keep him I wish we would stop messing about and just play him as CM and sign someone similar to McNeil to play on the right.
