Weird isn't it how Brady is always banging the feminism drum but she works for those two.
If you can’t bang a women...bang a drum! 8-)

Much prefer our remaining fixtures especially the last two. Some tricky games to come but the two easiest away to City and Liverpool should see us safe :)

Southampton A
Bournemouth H
Newcastle United A
Tottenham H
Manchester City A
Watford H
Crystal Palace A
Sheffield United H
West Ham United A
Liverpool A
Wolves H
Norwich City A
Brighton H
No easy games there either!

Burnley to aim for 50 points and a top ten finish.

You just can't predict results, just look at our recent fixture's.

It's pointless saying that West Ham won't get results against top opposition, they can get a result just like we can.

People also assume after our recent results we will easily get enough points versus weaker teams. It's not great logic when we can easily lose to any team in the league.

All that matters is the performance each time the whistle blows, no point trying to gamble on teams taking or not taking points ahead of time. There's a reason why sports betting is notoriously bad.

Most amusing bit about this thread....

3 weeks ago a lot thinking we were toast ... all the teams below us were fantastic and going to win all their games ... all of a sudden people actually realising its not as simple as that....

Oh don't you just love Football :D :D :D

It wouldn't be football if it wasn't like that would it Boss?

We're doooomed Captain Manwairing, we're all doooomed I tell thee!

To be fair Boss (as opposed to dark haired or redheaded) I think most of us thought that the club was finished, the dream was over and all was lost, we would be consigned to watching non-league football at Colne and talking about the 'good old days' when Burnley had a football club. But that was yesterday and now...well the sun is shining again (even if we can't see it for all the mist and rain) and all is well with the world (unless you're a West Ham fan).

Runs off into the distance cackling madly and singing my old man's a dustman.

Sensible post (sensible - what you doin' on 'ere?). True and to be honest the 'Ammers do seem to have a knack of knicking points off the big teams (better than us normally) so it's not done yet. I do think though that barring disaster we will be okay now. A lot said we were looking down as little as 2 weeks ago but it is easy to say why with the results we were having and the last 3 fixtures still to come. To be fair and honest who on here at that point would have thought we would take 7 points (should have been 9) off Leicester, United (away) and Arsenal? Not a soul (and anyone who says they would have is a big fat liar  ). We now have 13 games to get around 8 points or so (okay 9) with not too bad a run-in and we are averaging over the season 1.24 points per game. If we carry on with the season's average we will get double the points we need. Time for optimism methinks.

West Ham have an horrendous next 7 fixtures playing the top sides. Their remaining fixtures aren't much better against relegation sides, who are fighting for their lifes.
West Ham will truly have to get their act together and show some fight and charecter, or they are down
