Let’s not turn on Eddie quite so much as this. He was pretty good at attracting popular players. Think Charlie Austin, Danny Ings, Jason Shackell, Sam Vokes, Kieran Trippier and Ben Mee.

Still 12-13 games -I think it will go right down to the wire. All the bottom 6 are capable of winning on their day so will be really hard on the three to get relegated

Having watched the game today I thought Henderson just seems to be getting better each game in the Sheff Utd goal. With Heaton out injured can see him in the frame for an England cap and certainly in the squad. His shot stopping is quite sensational and a keen reason for the number of clean sheets his club are keeping

Henderson second only to Pope.

Although I think the best keeper of all is Foster. He was unlucky. Now he is experienced, confident and....very good.

Looking like a big ask for Cherries to survive now considering their run in

Eddie, Stan, Steve and Sean all had a difficult relationship with supporters groups. Maybe there's something in common here. I can imagine supporters groups being difficult to deal with on occasions. Just read this board.

Agree 100% with that Ian,every time I see Foster he impresses.

The rest of our season doesn’t look to bad at all. I’ll take it.

It would be very satisfying to send Brighton back were they belong.

Not sure they can be relegated to League 1 from the Premier League.

Henderson has looked a very good goalkeeper this season at Sheff U. Bet they wish they could sign him.

I've nothing particular against Watford, but sending them down just to get shut of that belmtard of a manager would be most enjoyable.

For those thinking Bournemouth have got a difficult task ahead, we've just got 7 points from three very tricky fixtures.

WHU will be very relieved by those thoughts! Probably their best chance of survival....folk choosing a different three!

Brighton's run in is horrific, they will need to get a result against us on the final day.

Let's hope we're not "already on the beach" then.

Assuming we're already safe, Turf Moor is a very good away fixture to have if you need a result on the final day of the season. In recent seasons it's rather like drawing us in one of the Cups.

It's fairly obvious that once we are safe SD and the players seem to have little appetite to gain further points. (See last season, the one before, the one before that etc.)

The way we played at the Emirates in Wenger's last game was bordering on criminal, it was so unprofessional.

I’ve said it before, but it bears repeating; I really hope Jay Rod scores the goal(s) that send them down on the final day.

Yes let's hope we don't finish with a wimper once we're safe,it's become a habit in recent years, with our remaining fixtures a top 10 finish should be doable, and we should certainly achieve our 2nd best PL points haul.
