Thanks. I must admit I did look for that when my new manager at work revealed he was from Preston. Will have to send that tomorrow.
Be kind

Just seen this on my FB feed so couldn't avoid it. The standard of driving seems to be **** poor at the moment. I was going down burnley road towards padiham and a car came zooming out of the Lockyer avenue junction right in front of me and zoomed up the other side of the road towards Burnley. Had I arrived a few seconds earlier he would have gone right in to the passenger side of my pregnant partner. To say I was angry was an understatement. Similar here where people just aren't looking at junctions. It is pretty basic.
Roundabouts and motorways even worse.

Although they are in the wrong in their defence there are two cars parked right up to the main road, blocking vision towards Burnley and I would doubt there are any stop signs or white lines coming off a cart track.

Besides the bus being grey, if the SUV driver uses the excuse there were no stop or give way signs on the exit of that cart track then they need their license taking away and should have to undergo a driving retest.

No blame whatsoever goes to the bus driver, although I thought he should have dealt with the incident better.
The bus driver got lucky when he swerved the bus across the opposite side of the road, if a car had have been on coming there would have been a certain fatality,he should have kept his line

You’ve assumed the driver was still in control of the bus

The driver panicked, he was obviously not in control

The bus driver did absolutely nothing wrong. From the moment the idiot in the hideously coloured Chelsea tractor decided to pull out (like it’s father should have done) the resultant die had been cast, and nothing would have changed the outcome.
