Pope 6

Lowton 8
Tarks 7
Mee 7
Pieters 6

Brady 5
Westwood 6
Cork 6
McNeil 4 Chelsea had him well sussed

Wood 5 can't create anything
Vydra 6 how does anyone expect him to latch on to those kind of passes.

Jay 5
JBG 5

In games like that, Dyche has to sometimes let the midfield gamble on going forward rather than keep their shape. Nothing ventured nothing gained.

After 3 good recent performances, we revert to type. Absolutely inept in midfield and created nothing all game. Lost count of the number of times Cork dwelled on the ball and was robbed and CHO clearly targeted Pieters as the weak link. Never mind, we have just extended the contracts of 3 of the players culpable for today's non performance.

Three wins on the bounce, a really difficult game today, beaten by a very good side. I do love your positivity.

Pope 7 for all of Chelsea’s domination didn’t think they actually threatened Pope too much.
Lowton 7 he’s playing so well at the moment
Tarks 7 top performance
Mee 6 thought he was ok but was slack on the ball a few times
Pieters 5 difficult game. The formation Chelsea played just meant he was isolated 1-1 a lot of the time.
McNeil 6 few good passes but not much else
Cork 6 covered ground well and for 25 minutes we played some great football
Westwood 6 same as above
Brady 6 few slack passes but defended well
Wood 5 struggled
Vydra 5 struggled

Jay 5 struggled
Mumbongo 6 not on long enough but thought he had a few good touches.

Pope 6 didn’t have much to do except pick the ball out of the net.
Lowton 7 playing well
Tarkowski 6
Mee 6
Pieters 5 was left in isolation too often by McNeil
Brady 5 non existent
Westwood 5
Cork 5
McNeil 4 hardly in the game and neglected his defensive duty
Vydra 4 very poor service to him
Wood 4 see above

Gudmunsson 4 hardly realised he was on the pitch
Rodriguez 4 ditto
