Sorry claret cliff but the Tornadoes had top twenty hits with Globetrotter and Robot, but they were the first ever UK group to have a number one in the USA with Telstar.

Yea...Telstar for me ...dont recall the Others. Some songs stood out more than others..

Sonny and Cher "I got you babe" together they might have had others. but this is the one Remembered best for me.

Sonny and Cher had a couple of top twenty hits after their big number one: I remember "Little Man" and I think one called something like "Look at me". But they did fade away quickly until Cher came back as a a superstar single artist. I do love her voice.

When I read the title Thunderclap Newman was the first one that sprung to mind. Have to disagree with Procul Harum though, two chart songs of the top of my head were Homburg and Conquistador so not one hit wonders even though the other two weren't massive hits.
