Yes the mindset definitely plays a part, but that's due to Jimmy, although credit to Young Pant he showed that even the best bowlers can be scored off if you have a positive approach.

I'd certainly hope Jimmy will have at least a couple of English summers in him at least.

And he definitely deserves a proper send off at Lords and OT after everything he's done for English and Lancashire cricket throughout his entire career.
It’s a strange one, I don’t see anyone taking his place but ultimately you have to let them come in and slip up and learn. Jimmy will go when he knows it’s time.

Jimmy is one of the legends of the game, just like Alastair Cook was, and you're never going to directly replace them like for like, but clearly England do need to look at life beyond Jimmy, hence why they've been introducing younger bowlers such as Jofra and Olly Stone, it's had mixed results thus far, but if you don't try these guys then you'll never know whether they're up to playing test cricket or not.

I agree, you don’t replace a Brett Lee, Anderson, Johnson... over night, especially in England! strangely I suspect we will lose Broad quite sharply after Anderson because I refuse to believe we will be lucky enough to nurse two of the best in to their late thirties! (I hope we do)

We have some fantastic bowlers held back because it’s India, yet we were happy to play about with the batters?

Wood woakes both could have played the last test on a good track, we seem to prepare ourselves for the next test on last weeks test, I get it’s hard work but, we’ve brought lads and not played them once
