I liked the look of Brooks both before and after he signed for Bournemouth but Sheffield United said they sold him because Bournemouth offered way beyond their valuation of him.

I don't get what all the fuss is about Billing, anytime I've seen him play he's done nothing to excite me, and I have concerns about his attitude at times, I suspect he thinks he's a lot better than he actually is, he goes missing in games far too often for my liking.

And yes he's suffered relegations with Udders & Bournemouth, I'm  he's still only 24 he seems to have been around for ages. Finally he's contracted to Bournemouth until 2024, so he wouldn't come cheap, we can surely get better value elsewhere.
You didn’t watch the cup game against Bournemouth when he was MOM then .

One match against our 2nd string doesn't a player make. And we were terrible that night, so I really wouldn't pay much attention to that tie.

Loves a yellow? 44 of them in three seasons at Bournemouth which is downright shocking and shows a total lack of discipline.
Yes, I thought it would be a lot - hence my comment. Good player, though.

At 11m or whatever it was?

They must not have rated him too highly then!

Could see us going in for Adam Smith. Right age for $$$. Have been linked before. I'd hope for a little younger but this seems to be a typical signing. Anyone else think this?

I think Ben Pearson would be a great addition. He only moved to Bournemouth from PNE in January I think so probably unlikely, however.

Although I note a conversation about yellow cards and discipline further up. I dare say his record isn’t the best either.

Danjuma signed for £13.7m , if they are looking at cut backs this summer then an offer around £10-15m mark would probably get him.

I mean, I'm right there with ya. Just can see it happening. Still. It would be quite a bit younger than what we have! That's pretty scary eh?

Can't believe Bournemouth would pay over the odds for a player, so unlike them

You dont need to believe it, they didn't, they paid around 11m for him, hardly over the odds.

I'd say 11 million for Brooks was a bargain.

that's a typical Dyche/Garlick partnership signing. It's not the way Pace & Co want to run things if we believe what is being said. Time will of course tell
