Saka has always impressed me whenever I've seen him this season for Arsenal, and he's carrying his club form into the international arena, good to see an emerging talent showing his worth, and this is why I said this game is a chance for fringe players to press their claim for a start come the KO stages, and Saka is certainly grabbing the bull by the horns in that first 45.

3 sleep inducing performances in a row. How dismally uninspiring after all the hope for years for this close to being a home tournament.

Czechs presumably very happy with this scoreline and the chance to progress so won't make any serious attempt to score, England players presumably thinking a draw would be preferable, the only excitement value here is how England will seek to contrive an equaliser for a team who have no desire to score one.

Will need to be quite some OG....

Very solid performance but a complete bore fest. Still, job done. I just don’t think we’ll know what to do when we come up against a good side and need a goal. That said, I think this side is better equipped to counter attack so who knows.

Almost as bad as the Scotland game in the 2nd half. What did Southgate say to them at half time? Stop doing everything good you've been doing in the 1st half?

So. Kane, out of form, sussed by Internation Refs. Looking slow. But undroppable.

2 of Sterling, Saka, Rashford and Sancho. Saka, the only one to come away with an increased "bank balance" tonight. Kane too slow so need the pace of Sterling and Saka.

1 of Grealish, Mount or Foden. Grealish looked good 1st half. But did nothing. literally nothing 2nd. Foden for me.

2 of Rice, Phillips, Bellingham and Henderson. "Hendo" is a "captain", I like Rice but he's not looked great in these first three. Bellingham probably too young.

Defense picks itself apart from Right Back, Where Walker and James don't want to pass the ball forward. So Tripps for me. Plus our free kick taking from Saka and Shaw was naff, so Tipps' free kicks would be a bonus.

Can't see us getting through the next round, whomever we play TBH.

I think Henderson is more forward thinking than the other two, and his experience will be useful in a big game. I’d probably start him next week.

And to think people moan about Dyche’s tactics. I know we are through but that second half was awful. Walker stops every forward movement in its tracks! Good first half of trying to go beyond their defence. Kane seems to get slower by the game!
