I'm pretty certain we'd have sold Tarkowski if West Ham came in at £25m this summer but you're right, I don't know 100% so lets just nit pick. Lets stick to what was reported then, zero offers were made for Tarkowski this summer, so why do you keep saying he chose to stay?

Of course he was prepared to stay here for the final year, he didn't have any other choice, he's contractually obliged to remain here for another year.....

Last summer doesn't matter, irrelevant point. His value dropped significantly since then.

I said it was reported he would see out is contract in the event the club accepted a substantial offer. It wasn't me who wrote the article - I specifically referred to it being reported.

I could be wrong but didn't Tarks state that he wants to run down his contract and move to try and get his England place back, hinting that a move to a bigger club is what his aim was. This was a number of months ago and I'm not sure that move will materialise, however with no transfer fee to pay he'll be on the radar of every prem league team come May, and with no transfer fee required teams can offer that bit extra in wages
