Pope 7
Lowton 5
Mee 6
Tarkowski 6
Taylor 7
McNeil 8*
Gudmundsson 5
Westwood 4
Brownhill 4
Barnes 4
Wood 5

Defended Barnes against Leeds but he was absolute bobbins today. Vyds simply has to start against Arsenal.

Pope 7 one great save. Not possible to stop the goals.
Lowton 6
Mee 7
Tarkowski 7
Taylor 7

Gudmundsson 6
Brownhill 5
Westwood 6
McNeil 6

Wood 5
Barnes 5

I thought we played very well bar 7 mins.
Lost out on a pen and disallowed goal through officials.
Dominated play for long periods.

Pope 7
Lowton 6
Tarks 7
Mee 6
Taylor 7
GBG 6
Brownhill 4
Westwood 3
O'Neil 7 mom the one pl player to play football in our team
Wood 6 he must be totally ****** off with the non existant service he gets from our midfield.
Barnes 3 god bless him, how is he now in the starting 11 of a pl team

Lennon 3 what a waste of football shirt.
Dyche 4
I said before the start of the season (transfer window) if we started the season with a midfield three of Westwood, Brownhill and Cork I feared for the worst, nothing has changed my mind. We have the worst midfield in the pl, it would struggle in championship. However, if we continue with a rigid 442, which every other manager in the pl sussed out many moons ago, we will continue to be totally overun in every game. I hope I'm wrong, but I fear for the worst more than e ver since we got back into the the top flight.

Pope 6 some good saves but way off his line for the Townsend goal, if he's on the line that's a save

Lowton 5
Mee 7 it was 6 but the goal makes it 7
Tarkowski 6
Taylor 6 what's happened to our defense, we used to be able to defend, we got compliments for it, now it's on walk about and it keeps backing off

Gudmundsson 6
Brownhill 6
Westwood 6
McNeil 8

Wood 5 at fault for the keane goal, wood was in our box defending instead of staying high up the pitch putting pressure on the Everton defence so this allows keane to push up because he's no one to mark

Barnes 3 how's he in the starting line up instead of Vydra 😆

Predictable starting 11, performance and subs leads to a predictable score line!

We were really good first half, ok till they scored their first, and then absolutely terrible and could easily have lost by a lot more.

Football is played for 90 minutes, and that isn't the first game we've put in a 60 minute performance, and loads of players lacked any courage on the ball at all (bar McNeill) after we went behind.

I'm not sure it was Evertons tactical change either tbh, as that happened just after they equalised with a very poor goal from our point of view and our strong jaw hasn't been there for a while now.

Its up to Dyche to change it, but if we can't keep clean sheets, then we need to score, and we are not going to do that with a Barnes/Wood strikeforce and hopeful crosses chucked in

Bit worrying really

We were the better team for over half the match. McNeil looked dangerous running at them. That second goal really stung us and it we were completely chasing from that point, no rhythm and panic had properly set in.

Dyche has consistently proven he can turn things round and deliver... where some of our fans seem to consistently turn on the team and manager after every result that doesn’t go our way.

Ratings

Pope: 7 - made a couple of very very good saves. Not much chance with the goals
Lowton 7 - decent performance
Mee 7- dragged out of position a bit. +point for the goal
Tarks 7- decent performance. Shook up a moody richarlison
Taylor 5- think he can be a bit of weakness defensively and does seem to be targeted
Gudmundson 6- ran at them well. Fantastic assist for the goal.
Westwood 6- like others, over ran following the equaliser. Definitely not his best performance for us overall, but before they changed formation we had control for large parts.
Brownhill 5- can’t fault effort. Just think we retain the ball better with Cork
Mcneil 8 - he is by far our most dangerous, creative and confident player.
Barnes 5- not quite up to the pace.
Woods 6- some good hold up play. He sometimes looks slightly clumsy but his control is fantastic. Properly underrated striker.

Everton aren’t a bad team and will finish top half.

At some point in the next month or so we will get a couple of wins and the mood will change. That’s what Dyche does well.

Pope 6
Lowton 5
Mee 5
Tarks 6
Taylor 5
McNeil 5
Brownhill 5 - tackle and give it away
Westwood 4 - play it down the channel, his only ball
JBG 5
Wood 4
Barnes 3

Midfield two will get us relegated. Everyone was banging on that wide men was required in the transfer window. I think those two performances prove it was the central two positions that we needed to strengthen (failed yet again).
Cork as an extra body in there when Gomez came on would probably have helped he’s certainly not the answer either in a midfield two nor is Stephens.

Wood 6
Barnes 5
Lennon 5

Thankully Calvert Lewin was not playing. Need to play 3 CM's to stop the rot-we are tiring after 60 mins and need to bring on fresh legs. We are becoming easy to play against. Most sides electing to go 3 at the back to contain Wood and Barnes, then as we tire and once they have taken the sting out of our play, the opposition mix it up and has been seen in the last 12 or so games, just carve us up. Hopefully it will be a constructive week for the manager and coaches. We need to become harder to beat, as we simply are not going to score goals, other than at set plays

Interesting to see some fairly high marks for Taylor. He motors down the wing a lot but he hardly ever picks out a Burnley man with a cross for all the good positions he gets in

Pope 7 did what he had to was exposed by school boy defending
Lawton 3 totally out of position for the Gray goal rubbish and school boy defending
Mee 7 defended well but careless on the ball
Tarks 7 thought he defended well but sloppy passes at times
Taylor 7 good threat going forward
McNeil 8 worked hard put in one great cross and always had two men to cope with
Westwood 6 poor start to the season
Brownhill 4 works so hard to win the ball back but constantly gives the ball back
Gudmunson 5 one good ball in for the goal but so easy to mark as he only has one foot
Wood 7 played ok apart from the missed chance
Barnes 3 not sure why he starts to be honest

Vydra 7 Worked hard and troubled their defence for the short time he was on
Lennon 5 did what was asked became a second right fullback which I didn’t understand as we needed a goal
Jay not on long enough

It’s a tough one to score to be honest as I thought we played well again for an hour then completely capitulated.

Likewise with the season so far, had we taken our chances we could easily be sitting on 9 points.
However we squander chance after chance and conceding goals has become a real problem over the last 15 - 20 games or so.

Pope 7 a couple of fantastic saves, could do nothing with any of the goals
Lowton 5 poor
Tarkowski 7 thought he did ok
Mee 5 out of position for the goal, also a sloppy sideways pass nearly put us in serious danger
Taylor 6
JBG 6
Brownhill 5 not his best game, couldn't take the foul or even challenge leading upto the ( 2nd I think ) due to card
Westwood 4
McNeil 7 probably mom
Wood 5 quiet, missed a sitter too
Barnes 3 awful footballer, never had the brain , and now doesn't have the legs either. Momentum and pressure usually always goes whenever he's involved

Quite concerning that we have been 1-0 up on the hour mark against Brighton, Leeds and Everton and recorded only 1 point.
Thankfully Leeds scored really late, as there would have only been 1 winner had the game gone on another 10 minutes.
We have become very soft and seem to be letting in some poor goals.

IMO we do seem to struggle to adapt when teams change tactics or formation in game, we look lost at what to do.
It stsrred late last season and appears to have crept into this.
We used to say we had no depth or options on the bench, we have a decent bench now with experience and a few options to change shape, set up or formation, however it's the same old story of us being reactive rather than pro active and usually far too late.
