I'd actually go t'other way round. 1-0-9.
The 1 being Tarky who can launch those long uns to our big lads at the left hand side of their (Man City) box.
We have nothing to lose, well, apart from the match and our will to live.

Pope
Lowts Tarks Mee Taylor
Cornet brownhill cork Westwood McNeil
Wood
Some posters going on like Man City are unbeatable. Yes they played well vs Liverpool but they have been poor this season at times - drawing to Southampton and losing to spurs. If they have an off day and we are solid we can get a result. Unlikely yes but it would be silly to write it off. And anyway, Cornet always scores against city...

* 'Dyche' - 'try' - 'something' - 'different'

I can't see Dyche changing the formation at present
unless he's forced to because of injuries.
Much will depend on how we perform over the next 3 or 4 games.
Man City and Southampton away followed by Spurs and Brentford at home.
If we only pick up 1 or 2 points or less from those then he may well have too.
But i tend to think that it would be worth trying something different
against City given we've got soundly beaten there the last 3 times.
He could draft in another midfielder and play 433 and see what happens.
But if Cornet is fit to start against City then he's likely to put him in.
So I could see
Pope
Lowton Tarks Mee/Collins Taylor
Westwood Cork
Brownhill
Cornet Vydra or Wood McNeil
unless he's forced to because of injuries.

The emphasis will be on an improved performance. We'll fight to the death, lose 1-0 and be confident again and then the next time it actually matters that we put in a performance we'll not bother.

Well its the best three at the back formation I've seen so far!

After considerable thought I’m sticking with my lineup/formation from last weekMala591 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 04, 2021 11:45 am—————————Pope
Lowton——Tarks——Mee——Taylor
———Westwood————Cork
———————Brownhill
McNeil————————————Cornet
————————Vydra
Three man central midfield with Brownhill just in front of Westwood and Cork
This will give McNeil and Cornet a bit more freedom to attack when we’re in possession
Rest Wood as he is off form

I'd probably go with this.Iloveyoubrady wrote: ↑Mon Oct 04, 2021 9:35 pmPope

We certainly need to pack the midfield.
