Re: Dyche on Rangers shortlist
He's a manager in the best league in the world, has been for 7 out of the last 8 years, has absolute control of all things football and has a lengthy contract. He'd be crazy to even consider taking that job. Only a manager working below PL level or one who is not working at all would seriously want to go to the SPL.

He already in the best place to test his ideas
Free reign on team selection and coaching
No director of football to affect his ideas
Why drop down to manage Rangers?

Not many clubs would give a manager the level of control and length of contract that has been afforded to SD.
i guess he was in talks with AP and has a clear blueprint for the future here.
Lose to Celtic a couple of times and Rangers would almost certainly be thinking of sacking whoever their manager might be.

Could it be Owen Coyle ? He has confirmed to Rangers he is a hard drinking staunch protestant and a member of the Orange Order and Rangers are 10 years in front of Jamshedpur FC.

SD must be happy at BFC and comfortable with the new owners if he has signed a 4 year deal. If we stay up this season his worth will escalate by far more than if Rangers won the SPL. After all didn't Neil Lennon win it a few times, and where is he now ??

Sean would be mad to even consider going to the tinpot SPL, especially as Rangers might well be forced to sell a few players in January to ease their debts and also lower their wage bill.
And trips to the likes of Stamford Bridge as we enjoyed recently, or enduring 4 games against the likes of Dundee, Livingston & Ross County every season tough choice that, not to mention the drop in salary, plus if SD didn't win the title with Rangers this season, and that's by no means guaranteed, he'd be immediately in the firing line.
For comparison it took Stevie G 3 full seasons to lift the SPL, but he was given a grace period due to Rangers having only recently returned to the top league, I severely doubt whether their next manager whoever it happens to be will be given such leniency if trophies aren't forthcoming instantly.
