You're all heart, Lowbank.
It’s very sad that there has been a rise in people wanting to hurt themselves, the poor state of mental health care does not help . Plus the last two years have been hard on people.
Part of my point was the canal bridge is only 200 yards away, so surely that one will need to be done or the people just need to walk a bit further. Sadly.

So for people looking to avoid the roundabout coming from the Blackburn direction.
Come off at junction 9 and go on Accy road. Straight on at the lights, carrying on on Accy road.
Go to the mini roundabout where farm foods is on the right and turn right.
Third left onto Harold street, there are steel sculptures on your left just before the turning.
Just go straight on until you get to the cross roads of Cog lane, go straight on St Mathews st.
That brings you to Manchester road, turn left and into town.
Tried it tonight and traffic was very low.

I used junction 10 as I do normally, both before and after the game. Arrived at J10 just before 5. No problems. If anything, less traffic. Afterwards, maybe added another 2 or 3 minutes but otherwise no issues.

What's the thoughts on this for tomorrow night? I got the train on Sat but would prefer to drive tomorrow night but can't be bothered with any bedlam at Gannow Top.

Depends on which direction is home.
If you are wanting to head west on M65 it be best to head to Brierfield and get on at J12
