Re: Massive game
Absolutely this. Devastating, but we’re not very good. Can’t beat those teams so won’t stay up.burnleymik wrote: ↑Sat Mar 12, 2022 5:11 pmLet's be honest, it was in our own hands and we failed in our biggest games. Leeds, Watford and now Brentford. That's the difference this season and that's why I now fear our hope is gone.

Realistically, we've been down since Christmas. 20 points is the safey zone for Christmas and almost every other year we've been there. This time we were nowhere near. Last 5 years, we've ground out results and won the games that mattered. This year we have capitulated in those games.BabylonClaret wrote: ↑Sat Mar 12, 2022 5:01 pmHmmm. That's three tines we've had the chance to move out of the bottom 3 and failed to take it. I thi k that probably means we are down with the bottom 2. Psychologically today is a huge blow. It's leeds or us or Everton and right now those two are in the driving seat.
Brentford are safe
Our midfield just doesn't create enough chances. We are down.

Difficult to argue against this I’m afraid.Steddyman wrote: ↑Sat Mar 12, 2022 5:17 pmRealistically, we've been down since Christmas. 20 points is the safey zone for Christmas and almost every other year we've been there.
