Good luck Liverpool!
Re: Good luck Liverpool!
Liverpool fans regularly boo the national anthem, most recently in the FA Cup final.
Hope they get smashed, come on Madrid.

Re: Good luck Liverpool!
Loads of England fans boo national anthems too. Seems an odd reason to want them to lose.
Re: Good luck Liverpool!
I doubt they boo God Save the Queen . Did the scousers boo when they received their furlough payments?

Liverpool fans mainly coming over with an air of over-confidence.
I won't be disappointed if they're disappointed.

Good luck from me too. But whenever Liverpool have success I feel sorry for true Southampton fans who had so many players taken by Liverpool to make it happen.
Re: Good luck Liverpool!
Looks like there’s issues with too many fans trying to get in past the checkpoints. It does look worrying on the photos on twitter

Sounds horrendous. Madrid end full. Liverpool end empty. Special rules for English fans. More checks, less entrances by the sounds of it. I really hate this kind of stuff, no justification, other countries fans kick off too, e.g. Rangers’ opponents the other week in the city.
There are some reasons I’m glad to be watching football at a lower level, this is one of them, a better fan experience (Rovers aside).

There’s something common about champions league finals not being able to get fans into the stadium and certain teams playing….. probably just a coincidence.

Independent journalists reporting online that when they arrived at the ground 2/3 hours ago the queues then were massively long and a bottleneck entrance was being used, fans then becoming desperate to get in or escape the crush, including women and children, then get tear gassed by French police.

Re: Good luck Liverpool!
Nice to know that we are not the only country that can't organise a football final
Course, the same nationality of fans is the issue again, and clearly not an issue affecting the Spanish fans
Its not Liverpool fans, its English football teams fans in general I feel
Far too many think they can act like they do over here, and its not something that the local police will either accept or be as good at dealing with it

Re: Good luck Liverpool!
I've got a mate in the stadium who arrived 3 hours early and took over an hour to get in. Said there's 3 security checkpoint before you even get to where the turnstiles are and said it was ridiculously slow and he's not surprised its become a dangerous bottleneck.
Its not that long ago when our club couldn't even cope with getting a few thousand fans into the longside before kickoff

Sounds like it's a mess due to organisation more than anything else.
Re: Good luck Liverpool!
So Madrid have no issues getting in, but Liverpool do. So how can it be UEFA's fault and not not Liverpool's?

Does look like from twitter that the police are being much harsher with the Liverpool fans, and checking much more
Again, its ALL English fans reputation that is not helping here

Because they enter from different part of the grounds and if you take a simple search online the end where Liverpool fans are entering has been criticised for years by other fans due to the bottleneck nature it causes.
