Thanks. OK, I've got a tech problem to solve - before kick-off tonight!
UTC
NOW Tv working via Fire Stick. That's all I need for 8pm kick-off.
Video still not working. I'll look to sort that stuff another time.
3 hours until kick-off. 2 hours until we learn who makes the starting XI for Vincent Kompany's first Championship game.

Adding (edit) NOW TV offer £19.99 per month this season.

Let’s all bang on about trying to win a game as a slight on the previous regime that managed to win games at Old Trafford and Anfield with very limited recent investment. I’m sure a gung ho approach in those games would have allowed us to win against big 6 teams. I assume he’s going to be looking forward to trying to win games the next time we are in the Premier League. From what I saw in our Premier league seasons I never saw a Burnley team playing not to be beaten. They may have been out of their depth at times against City but we gave Liverpool a game at the turf just last season. I think it’s disrespectful suggesting they didn’t try to win games when we played to our strengths with the limited skill set on the pitch.
As others have said you are not going to get any info around the debt of the club and how it is financed but you can add a bit more meat to the bone around the mistakes that may have been made such as around the academy etc.
I will be reserving judgment at least until we have played a dozen games this season but I think this interview could have been a bit classier in terms of not slighting a regime that got Burnley FC into Europe on a budget a tenth the size of the other teams in those European places.

Not sure what some of you see as the problem with that interview?
OK it doesn't go deep enough perhaps in some of the questioning but every time I see AP I think what a decent bloke he comes across as. He is invested emotionally in the club and he talks long term. I suppose had he wrung his hands a bit and knelt and apologised for the Academy slipping from Cat 1 to Cat 2 it might have been a bit more palatable but I cant remember a chairman of ours speaking in such a balanced enthusiastic manner.

Watched and listened to Alan Pace's interview after the game. I rec'd a notification on the BFC app on my mobile.
Good interview. Saying all the right things in all the right ways. Alan Pace praised the fans and the way the fans have handled the disappointment of relegation. Yes, he said the aim is promotion, but it's not the worst thing if we don't achieve promotion. He said he was looking forward to the team going out to win games rather than to going out set up defensively and aiming to hold on and see what we can get. I'm not sure why anyone thinks this is a dig at previous coaching staff and players. we were relegated last season, so we go again in the Championship, rather than coming up most weeks playing one or other of the big 6 in the Premier League. Yes, maybe Sean Dyche focussed everything on "playing football the Sean Dyche way" where possession wasn't that important and long balls out of defence was what was needed. We've seen a different approach tonight from Vincent Kompany. It's only the first game and there's a lot more work to be done. We are playing in the Championship rather than the Premier League. Possession and going forward more than staying back, passing on the deck more than the kicking the ball high in the air. How often did Burnley head the ball whether it was a defence clearing header from the back or a forward competing for the long ball to the front and trying a flick on to the one other team mate who is forward? Alan Pace used the term - I know everyone knows that I would notice - exciting times. For now I'm happy it looks like Burnley are playing "exciting times" football.

Wait people are watching an interview with Pace on the club website and are expecting questions about the academy and finances?
Come back down to earth fellas. Those kinda questions are not going to be posted in an interview by the club.
I get the impression there's a lot of old and bitter people in here. Give the guy a break he's already doing more than ol Garlick. Even if you don't like it, it's better than nothing.

Like you I’ve only watched it after last nights result
Maybe that has put a different perspective on the interview than those that saw it pre game.
We could all see as fans that under Dyche we were going out not to lose rather than to win which will only get you so far, and from Paces opening statement, they could see that too.
