I certainly didn't think his head went down.
But I was trying to emphasise the difference in his role now, and how coming in from his "wrong" side would have made those chances a bit harder.

He’s probably disappointed not to score but that was a good debut and plenty of promise on show.

Missed a great opportunity - but that happens whether you’re Dara Costelloe or Harry Kane.

His overall performance for a kid making his debut (out of nowhere!) was really pleasing and bodes well for his involvement this season. He will be a good option for us.

Decent enough debut by the lad. and it's great to finally see youth getting a chance to flourish, certainly showed enough last night to suggest he'll be worthy of a squad place this season.

Yes he fluffed a couple of chances, but at least he was in the position to miss them, and next time he'll likely bag if he keeps getting in those areas.
