Playing to a small crowd in a 20,000 capacity stadium isn’t a good look.
Yep. Ask Blackburn.

Play where they want as long as I don't have to watch it.

Exactly this. Would be good though if they played a one off like their first home game at the turf. I would go and I am sure many others would, but I think a lot of people at the club and a large percentage of Burnley fans are very narrow minded unfortunately.
So not wanting to watch women’s football makes people narrow minded ?? While an opening game would show commitment, womens league football is hugely subsidised and attendances atrocious. They’d have to play before the men and dress the occasion up like 20/20 or other such vaudeville.

As others have said, I don’t think there’s the following to warrant playing games at the Turf, but I think it would be good to get them closer to ‘home’ than Leyland.

As it stands the level Burnley ladies play at is amateur standard, although being paid for amateur standard.
If they opened the turf and got a few thousand fans many would never return because of the dross being served up. Wait until they are half decent and then try to get the fans in. Watching them at the moment will most likely put people off for life

I think its land near to the remaining Lowerhouse Lodge, Bob Lord's meat factory was located in that area back in the day.
There is mention of this land north and south of Molly Wood Lane Hapton in the last few paragraphs of the LET article about the new owners.
Burnley Bridge business park is next door to this land.

Yes, it came from the details of the securities that MSD have, described on here:
