Tbf Newclaret is a very positive poster. He’s not saying Twine won’t be successful he’s saying we shouldn’t put all our eggs in one basket

Re: Twine
League Cup games can be a pain at this time of the season but this one on Tuesday should be ideal for us.
We have lots of players struggling for minutes or returning from injury and Shrewsbury is perfect.
VK may have earmarked this game for Twine.

suratclaret well done on the name , guess not that difficult with the clues and the numbers we have brought through since him, guess Jay rod the best since Trevor, I wonder how many who are posting on here remember him, always remember when he was in the centre of the park under presure his fancy turn and pass back to the keeper (when Keepers could pick up back passes) to restart without lossing the ball. hisw skills were good and he always seemed a nice guy both on and of the field.

Re: Twine
There's a handful of young players we have had where it was obvious after a few games that they would play for England one day. Steven was the most obvious. Ings, Tripper, Dave Thomas and Cahill were the others. Its a bit early yet, but think THB may be another.

Re: Twine
You could tell he was class…like Martin Dobson, he always seems to have more time on the ball than some of his team mates. His ability, at a young age, to be able to read the game was amazing as was his ability to see an opportunity to open up a game…sometimes he appeared too good for others in the team!pureclaret wrote: ↑Sat Aug 20, 2022 11:58 amsuratclaret well done on the name , guess not that difficult with the clues and the numbers we have brought through since him, guess Jay rod the best since Trevor, I wonder how many who are posting on here remember him, always remember when he was in the centre of the park under presure his fancy turn and pass back to the keeper (when Keepers could pick up back passes) to restart without lossing the ball. hisw skills were good and he always seemed a nice guy both on and of the field.
