and to be fair if they are giving us 5500 tickets we should be giving them more than half the Cricket Field

They'll just show up as sold seats won't they?
Fishwick Stand is just showing black you can't buy tickets in there for the PNE game.

I was at a christening yesterday and was talking to three police lads one is a gold match commander and 100 percent Blackburn fans aren't in the whole cfs, it's not going to be a bubble match because of the legal challenges after the Pne v Blackpool match last season that wasn't also I was also told in the reverse fixture at Ewood the full 8k away tickets will be available

They’re moving the metal barrier on the away side and at least doubling the gap between fans. Away capacity will reduce slightly.

Re: Too close for comfort …
It’s been done. During this international break the club have removed 3 columns of seats from the away section and moved the barrier over so the fans are no longer in touching distance. They’re currently painting the steps, but by the next home game you wouldn’t be able to tell the barrier had been moved if you’d not seen it closer previously.

Brum at home on Boxing Day is potentially a flash point and Cardiff at home on the last day of the season will no doubt be stupid as usual. I've been to two home games against them on the last day of the season and they always cause havoc.

Birmingham rarely bring many, you’re right, but they’ll sell out with it being Boxing Day.

Re: Too close for comfort …
No away fans should be in there in the first place
Move all away fans into the JHL next to the Cricket Field

Re: Too close for comfort …
Will never happen. Home and away fans would be entering and exiting through turnstiles/exits next to each other and where would away coaches drop off?? Stupid idea!Woodleyclaret wrote: ↑Sun Sep 25, 2022 7:20 pmNo away fans should be in there in the first place

Clubs who go away in big numbers like Boro, Sunderland and Sheffield United won't be any trouble as they sell to season ticket holders.
It is the small local clubs like Blackburn, Blackpool and Wigan who have few season ticket holders and who have to sell to the general public to shift their allocation who are the proble

Blackburn won't be an issue, they have a habit of returning unsold tickets this season.
