Some unfair comments on Roberts. Would be interesting to see us play with Roberts as an attacking full back. He’s not had the luxury to play that role - a role he is far more suited to.
Too slow ....poor passer......defensive mistakes galore!

I hope he has a good World cup so we can flog him for a profit in January.
We look miles better without him.

That’s the spirit! Let’s get rid of everyone not in the starting squad, we’ll never get any injuries!

I just think he slows us down too much....have been saying it for a long time. Get rid.

Would be interesting to see Roberts play as an attacking full back like the role Vitinho has been given. Or perhaps even more interesting to see how Vitinho would get on playing the role Roberts has been playing!?

Roberts hasn't impressed all that much since he signed last year and his body language at times has been poor; absolutely no arguments here with either of those points. My point is that everyone can clearly see that the system being deployed has changed since Vitinho went to right back and so we don't know if Roberts would flourish there or not. He should as that is the way he played for Swansea and plays for Wales.

I'm not Roberts' biggest fan but it seems to me that there are a large number of Burnley fans who just have a downer on him.
