Probably don't want their facilities smashing to bits, how would the pay for their 2 or 3 pros next season if their repair bills are high..
They will miss out on 10k.
2000 Burnley fans aren't suddenly going to change their regular venues or park there for 6 quid.

Will be plenty of Burnley fans there if they open early enough. Particularly if England get to the 20/20 final.

Rovers fans will be all coming in on buses straight from Ewood and ushered straight into the ground.
I doubt very few will be making their own way as it was them who rarely complained about the bubble as they preferred the police protection

I'm not suggesting anything, was hoping we would be allowed.
But with a lot of Blackburn fans only wanting us to be given the same allocation as they received in the CF, they won't like pubs open for us if they never had them.
Don't think it will matter what Rovers fans think/like/want.

Rovers would give us 20,000 if they could but it's up to the police at the end of the day

So, how did today go from your perspective?
In footballing terms it was close to perfection. My first memories of the derby were the 2 defeats in the 82/83 season. A period of total 'tards dominance followed but we kept the faith, even in the darkest hours. There were a few false dawns along the way, including the 5-0 humping. Today's atmosphere was electric. The performance felt similar to the 5-0 but in reverse - a huge gulf in quality. As was said on another thread, we outclassed them today. I almost felt a sense of closure which helps with the normalisation of the fixture.
How was it in terms of segregation and policing? My matchday routine was largely unaffected. Got there a bit earlier to watch the cricket. Heavy policing was evident but, save for a few coaches on Tod Rd, the closest I got to the 'tards was in the ground. Not heard of any trouble and really hope that was the case.
So, in the words of Tim Booth, how was it for you? Was it as good as it was for me? Because it's the best I've ever seen.

The bistro at Towneley golf club is the best breakfast in Burnley
Braid's Bistro at Burnley Golf Club (Glen View) is as good.
