Rovers have conceded one goal in the last five games but they have scored in every one. My feeling is that they will sit in like all the others do when they come TM and try and nick one, probably from a set piece or counter.

Panning out as expected, Burnley dominating possession, but Rovers defending resolutely.

Just need to keep probing and the chances will come.

Keeper runs into Barnes. Fakes injury claiming to be attacked.

Nothing in it. Again, the ref quite calm. Seemed to deal with it properly.

Vitinho and Maatsen worry me defensively. Barnes not really getting any service at all.

Poor pass from Cullen and Maatsen gives a needless throw to Blackburn.

Rovers obviously been told to look for any set pieces once in Burnley territory. Clearly diving at every opportunity.

A couple of times I've watched us this year wearing same colour shorts as the opposition. Does make it more difficult on the eye on TV.

Ref books Travis for body checking on the edge of the box. Ref again doing well.

2 good headers with 2 good saves. Could have been a claim for a pen against Diaz.

Ok Blackburn are happy to sit behind the ball and look like they hope to get one chance , now as for us well very tight had a couple of half chances and that is all really .
Both our wingers have been taken care of really need a goal to open them up .

Decent enough 45 that, pity HT came when it did as we were threatening the breakthrough.

Rovers have offered little in attack, but are making it tough, and their bloomin keeper has produced a couple of top drawer saves.

Hopefully our bench will make the difference or they will tire 2nd half as many others have done when chasing the ball a lot.

Presumably Barnes is on for his aerial ability defensively because he’s offered little up top again.

We need 2 up top , they look like they could nick one on counter attack . Still worried about full backs especially Vitinho who keeps giving ball away . Hopefully better 45 minutes . UTC πŸ‘

Apart from nearly bagging near HT when the keeper denied him with a brilliant stop..

Yes he probably is in due to his heading.

Struggling to get in behind them out wide. Might look at bringing Tella on so we have some pace through the middle.

Which is when Benson would shine, coming on when they're tiring.
At the moment, because of the close attention his marker is giving him,
he's pretty ineffective, though he's put a few decent balls in.
Hope he proves me wrong in the second half, like. ;)
