Will the home section of the ground be empty come the final whistle?

Yeah I get that, the point was more about the people regarding the World Cup as an inconvenience, when they’ve missed out on some unbelievable entertainment.
There'll be many people who, like me, have enjoyed the world cup throughly but are looking forward to going to watch Burnley. There will be others who, like you say, haven't been that interested in the world cup and would've preferred it if the domestic game hadn't been paused. Each to their own.

I think they totally collapsed in the last 10 minutes and we could have run riot, but job done and all that

I know it was obvious to keep Dack on after he'd just scored but I think it was bad management, decision was made should've kept to it, he's been terrible.

Worth remembering that we were doing well before the break, so we may also be out of sorts against QPR

Looks like a few Rovers fans are going to stay till the final whistle to avoid getting stuck in traffic.

So a win for us tomorrow would leave us at least 7 points clear (and far better GD) of 3rd place.

Each to their own, exactly. So no real need to over-analyse my obviously flippant comment.

Lucky for Rovers PNE only fielded their reserves isn't it, that's a hilarious return to club footy, well done Nobbers for causing us Clarets much mirth.

Dominant day for the England test team, Rovers pummeled in their own backyard - just the small matter of winning this evening but it's close to being the perfect Saturday

I was wrong before, a win tomorrow for us will create an EIGHT point gap with a far better GD than 3rd place. That would be quite nice, no matter how far there is to go!

Just shows how much their fans know about football, I have just been on their forum and they are going mad for their manager to be sacked, I think he is doing a marvellous job!!

Hadn’t expected that result today. Tomorrow is a bigger game than I expected it to be. Hope we can capitalise.

To be honest, a point would be a good result as we’d still be 6 clear of 3rd with a much better GD, heading into 2 home games!

To be fair, most people who live on Shads probably don't know where Ewood is, or indeed Blackburn.

It snowed throughout but didn't settle until near the end. 15 earlier and they would have lost the lines.

Must admit though Ewood is a fantastic ground to get that many Rovers supporters off in such a short space of time is nothing less than remarkable!

It is.
Some are on about "running the Venkys out of town".
Ignoring the fact that the Vs are rarely there now, if ever, some of the thickos haven't twigged yet that if there aint no Venkys, there aint no Rovers.

It would. Any point away is okay, but I’d love to see us go out and get a grip on this league. Feel a commanding lead to 3rd come January could make a big difference as to who we could sign.
It’s not just player’s confidence that they’ll be playing in the PL next year, but all the deals will have promotion clauses and if chairmen feel there’s a very high probability we’ll go up, I think it will help get deals over the line.

That debacle yesterday was Rovers 10th defeat of the season, and we haven't even reached the halfway stage yet.
Is their annual new year collapse happening earlier than normal this season.

They both looked like Biggins and Zammo’s lovechild. Biggins the dominant gene in one, Zammo dominant in the other
