To be fair they look pretty decent going forward and their goalie looks good but their defence is as shabby as I’ve seen in a long time. Watched them last night on the highlights and one of their defenders was so bad he is lucky to be getting paid for playing.

Cork is only 2 bookings away from a 2 game ban and is picking them up swiftly due to his Ferendeneo/ Fabineo role. So Twine likely to get his chance soon, with Josh dropping back. Massive selection problem for VK after that. Good innit.RVclaret wrote: ↑Mon Dec 12, 2022 12:40 pmTwine will be playing more often than not, just needs to get match fitness now. Kompany ball often needs some guile in between the lines to unpick defences and there’s no one, aside from him, who’s a natural in that role. Doesn’t mean he starts every game, but I’d bet he’ll feature in near enough every game.

Irrespective of the division, I'm just enjoying thrilling and attacking football played in the right manner

So yes we will miss Corky when he picks up his 2 match ban, but hey ho we have some fantastic quality now on the bench this season.
We missed Brownie in the Sheff U game ... but we were still struggling with injuries to the squad, this has now eased. I just can't ever remember seeing a Clarets side with such quality "throughout" the team as we see now.

Cork will be a big miss for two games whoever comes in to replace him. He is absolutely crucial for how we play at the minute and I would go as far as to say he has been the best midfielder in the championship this season. Not really surprising given he is essentially a well oiled premier league play on loan to the championship for a season. Underused beyond belief last season and one of the main reasons we are on loan to the championship for a season.
